Sonu Nigam gets his diary autographed by Aamir

Sonu Nigam gets his diary autographed by Aamir

The ever-elusive Aamir who refuses to grace even the biggest award functions of the film fraternity delighted his fans recently when he descended on the sets of Zee's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs. In true-blue Aamir style, the perfectionist arrived for the shoot a good twenty minutes ahead of time. Quite contrary to his otherwise serious image, Aamir was sporting enough to break into the Aati Kya Khandala' gig with li'l Vasundhara, enact the famous Zara AC idhar karna' scene from RANGEELA for li'l Tanmay and sign ardent fan, Sonu Nigam's oldest personal diary. Touched by the impressive performances of his own songs by the little ones, Aamir was full of praise and encouragement for them. Like they say, jab bhagwaan deta hai, toh chhappad phaad ke deta hai.

It was a moment on cloud 9 for Sonu Nigam when childhood bow-idol Aamir Khan recently appeared on the sets of Zee's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs and affectionately autographed a diary Sonu had carefully cultivated, capturing hundreds of pictures of the superstar through the years. Almost choking with joy, Sonu told Aamir that he had idolized him since he was knee-high, watched his every film, read his every interview and dreamt of enjoying a female fan following like his. Aamir was very touched on seeing the diary and said, "Sonu, in fact, I am a huge fan of yours and admire your versatility. And if as a teenager, you fantasized of having a female fan following like mine, you have most certainly lived out your dream" Proving Aamir right, Aditya Narayan went on to add that the team at Li'l Champs has been inundated with fan mail for Sonu. Salma, a Sonu-fanatic from Dubai has been eagerly writing in to tell Sonu that she has a collection of pictures that showcases all his hairstyles ever since he began his journey of fame as the charming host of Sa Re Ga Ma.

Soha Ali Khan Graces L'il Champs this week

Last week, the L'il Champs gave performances on Asha Bhosle’s favourite songs, and this Friday, they will sing their own personal favourite songs. All of them give really fantastic performances; Shy Rohanpreet sings “Pardesi Pardesi Jaana Nahi”, and his Daddy dearest now reveals to all that the song was for someone very special called Ambar. Vasundhara too gives a fabulous performance and gets many cute pet names from Sonu Nigam. But it will be Amir who will finally steal the show with his rendition of Teri Deewani. Sonu this time makes sure to come up on the stage to hug him and appreciate the L'il Champ. It is also the extra elimination day as was decided last week. This elimination causes bit of a controversy, and parents stand up for their kids. So do we finally see an elimination?

Saturday L'il Champ has a special guest on the sets. It’s none other than the beautiful Soha Ali Khan who is there for the promotion of her film “Khoya Khoya Chand”. With her as the guest, the Lil Champs make sure to turn the episode into a playful one. Do catch her, tapping her feet merrily with none other than “Chhote Badmash” Tanmay. Tanmay would be performing on the song “Yeh Chand Sa Roushan Chehra”, which incidently is also Soha’s personal favourite. Rohit too enthralls the audience with his “Roop Tera Mastana” and gets lot of praise from the judges. Saturday also saw the birthday celebration of Rohanpreet.

Tune in to Zee SaReGaMaPa 's L'il Champ on friday, 30th Nov and Saturday, 1st Dec at 10 PM IST and catch on all the fun, frolic, excitement and Masti.
